# End-User License Agreement (EULA) for AI Homework Helper: Scan

Please read this End-User License Agreement ("Agreement") carefully before clicking the "I Agree" button, downloading, or using AI Homework Helper: Scan ("Application").
## 1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using the Application, you are agreeing to be bound by the terms and conditions of this Agreement. If you do not agree to the terms of this Agreement, do not click on the "I Agree" button and do not download or use the Application.
## 2. License Grant
AI Homework Helper: Scan grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to download, install, and use the Application strictly in accordance with the terms of this Agreement.
## 3. Educational Purpose & Academic Integrity
The Application is designed as a supplementary educational tool intended to help you understand complex subjects and learn math concepts step-by-step.
- You agree to use the Application responsibly and in accordance with your school or institution’s academic integrity policies.
- You agree not to use the Application to cheat on live exams, standardized tests, or any other unauthorized scenarios.
## 4. Subscriptions and Payments
Certain features of the Application (including unlimited scanning, step-by-step math solving, and PDF summaries) may require a premium subscription.
- Subscriptions automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
- You may manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your App Store or Google Play Account Settings after purchase.
## 5. User-Generated Data & AI Processing
By taking photos of your homework or uploading notes, you consent to this data being processed by our AI providers (such as OpenAI) to generate solutions and summaries.
- We do not use your personal identifiers for AI training.
- Please do not scan or upload documents containing sensitive personal information (PII) or confidential data.
## 6. Intellectual Property
The Application, including its original content, features, functionality, and design, are and will remain the exclusive property of the developer. The Application is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both local and foreign jurisdictions.
## 7. Termination
This Agreement is effective until terminated by you or the developer. The developer may, in its sole discretion, at any time and for any or no reason, suspend or terminate this Agreement with or without prior notice.
## 8. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall the developer be liable for any special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages whatsoever (including, but not limited to, damages for loss of profits, loss of data, or other information, for business interruption) arising out of or in any way related to the use of or inability to use the Application.
