All Algolope start with seven stats, imports with no lineage are determined by RNG 1-10. Offspring of breeding earn their stats from anything in between the parent's current ranges. It is beneficial for offspring to train up the parents before breeding, thus allowing for more skilled algolope offspring.
Ex: Dam has a Speed stat of 5, Sire has a speed stat of 10, offspring will then have a chance to inherit anywhere from 5-10 for their speed stats. The stats inherited are based on the current stats of the sire and dam at breeding.
Final stats are determined by completing the 7 Training requirements, which also unlocks access to Dungeons. The training submissions can add a RNG+1-3 to respective stats. So if you'd like to breed higher stat animals, training is very useful, and all stats add bonuses to certain activities.
Stats can also be improved by use of items and completing certain events. The effects of Stat Potions permanently modify stats, which most items are just temporary boosts or one time use. Rank ups can also provide stat boosts as well!
Strength: Determines the animal's physical strength, this stat is important for hunting, fishing, and damage dealing in dungeons.
Speed: How far and fast an animal can move. Important for Hunting and racing. As well as outmaneuvering enemies.
Constitution: The health of the animal, higher stats mean the animal is more resistant to injury, and can last longer in fights, or endure rougher climates. 1 point con= 10 Hp. Con can be temporarily reduced via dungeons, explorations and activities like hunting via injury. If an algo is injured it can be healed to continue activities.
Dexterity: Determines the animal's coordination with tail attacks, climbing, reflex and balance. Important for Diving and Scavenging, as well as in dungeons.
Agility: Much like dexterity, agility also plays a part in balance as well as reflex. Animals with high agility are able to preform tighter turns, more skilled jumps and pounces, and can traverse more difficult terrain with ease. Agility is important for racing and delving.
Stamina: Stamina affects how long the animal can competently endure a task, such as outrunning prey, running for longer, or carrying more weight for longer distances. Endurance is important for racing, diving, and fishing.
Intelligence: Intelligence affects how well the animal learns skills or abilities. This is often useful for delving and scavenging. As a more intelligent animal can pick up on better hunting tactics, faster racing routes, and is a quick learner when trained. More intelligent animals also have an easier time scavenging as they know the best locations to look. In dungeons high intelligence might mean the algo finds additional loot or treasures.
Quick Breakdown:
Each activity has two main skills tied to it, the primary skill, or first skill listed, often adds an additional loot chance to the score, while the secondary skill boosts odds of success. Skills are generally all around useful in Dungeons and other activities as well.
Rng Activities: (activities with scores for results)
Hunting - Strength, Speed
Fishing - Stamina , Strength
Scavenging - Intelligence, Dexterity
Delving - Intelligence, Agility
Racing - Speed, Agility
Diving - Dexterity, Stamina
Stats in Dungeons:
Con: Health. 1 Con= 10 HP. Once at 0 you lose and cannot continue a dungeon for the rest of the month, unless using items. Chance to lose items gained.
Spd: How fast your Algo is compared to monsters. A fast Algo can even possibly outrun a monster, or has better chances at fleeing. Fleeing allows continuation of dungeon at later date within month, and retains items.
Dex: How often an Algo can make a tail attack, climb, or balance per dungeon. [A stat of 4 would allow up to 4 tail attacks, or a mixture of all actions] Tail attacks deal half-stat damage. If an algo has a 4 Dex, it could deal up to 2 hp per tail attack.
Agi: How many Dodges/Evasions or Jumps and Pounces allowed per dungeon. Evading attacks negate HP damage. Pounces/Jumps deal 1 hp damage each.
Str: Involved in moving obstacles, or damaging opponents. Str stat is max damage per basic attack. (IE, no pounces/tail attacks.)
Sta: How many basic attacks that can be made.
Int: Ability to notice treasure and loot, or hidden items. Every 5 int= +5% to find.
Stats like Con (Constitution) are generally used in all activities, as they have a chance of injury. Injuries reduce Con and can cause the Algo to be incapacitated or injured should Con hit 0, unable to do further activities until healed. These effects are temporary, however inbreeding causes permanent Con reduction if any kits are stillborn so it is suggested to keep lines clean to prevent injuring the dam.
Quests and Exploration:
Certain Quests and Exploration Quests will have required stats to either participate or succeed in the quest. Each quest will detail this information at the beginning. You can still participate in quests where an algo doesn't meet requirements, but they may lose out on rewards. Sometimes it's best to train or use another algo instead.
On imports you will see stats displayed in the following format:
Stats:STR: 5 | SPD: 9 | CON: 2 | DEX: 9 | AGI: 7 | STA: 2 | INT: 2
Trained stats are marked with [★] after the stat, and the Training log will detail the training submission as well as the stats earned.

Strength Training +2
Training must be of the same skill for all algos depicted, and up to three algolopes can be trained per submission. Training can be completed in any order, submitted all at once or one at a time.
Ranking up Rewards
Algos can further impove their stats by rankup.
Starting at Adept Rank (70Rp), and algo can gain +5 to one stat of choice.
At Expert (150Rp), +5 to stats (may choose distribution). This means you can add up to 5 stat points to any skill of choice, such as +2 Spd, +1 Int, +2 Str.
or you can distribute to one stat of choice such as +5 Str.
At Master (300Rp), +10 stat points (may choose distribution).
At Legend (500Rp), +10 stat points (may choose distribution)
+D20 stat mixer (Rerolls a base stat of choice and adds training bonus and rank bonuses to new base stat). This item is useful especially if you had a particularly low stat, such as Int 1, then you're guaranteed to get a higher base stat. Results must be kept even if the stat is lower. It's a gamble after all!
At Mythic (1000Rp), +5 stat points all stats
Your algo gets +5 to all stats as listed.
Beyond rankups you can earn Stat potions and items from racing, or visit the Research Center to purchase stat adjustment items like Ability Boosters. Some items add temporary boosts while others are permanent.
