Please read these Terms of Use ("Terms") carefully before using Algebra AI: Math Helper ("App") operated by us ("we," "our," or "us").

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using our App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS

By accessing or using Algebra AI: Math Helper, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you are using the App on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

2. DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE

Algebra AI: Math Helper is an educational mobile application that provides:

• AI-powered algebra problem solving and step-by-step explanations

• Interactive study tools including flashcards, quizzes, and study notes

• Camera-based math problem scanning

• AI tutor chat functionality

• Calculator tools

• History tracking of solved problems

3. ELIGIBILITY

3.1 Age Requirements

• You must be at least 13 years old to use this App

• If you are under 18, you represent that you have obtained parental or guardian consent to use the App

• Users under 13 are not permitted to use the App

3.2 Account Responsibility

• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your device and any account information

• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your use of the App

• You must immediately notify us of any unauthorized use of your account

4. SUBSCRIPTION TERMS

4.1 Subscription Plans

• Weekly Subscription: Billed weekly, with a 3-day free trial period

• Yearly Subscription: Billed annually

• Pricing varies by region and is displayed in your local currency

• All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store

4.2 Free Trial

• New subscribers may be eligible for a 3-day free trial

• Free trial begins immediately upon subscription activation

• If you cancel during the free trial, you will not be charged

• Unused portion of the free trial is forfeited upon purchase of a subscription

4.3 Auto-Renewal

• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period

• You will be charged the subscription fee to your Apple ID account within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period

• You can manage and cancel subscriptions through your Apple ID Account Settings

4.4 Cancellation

• You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Apple ID Account Settings

• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period

• You will continue to have access to premium features until the end of your current billing period

• No refunds will be provided for the current billing period upon cancellation

4.5 Refunds

• Refund requests must be submitted through Apple's App Store refund process

• We do not process refunds directly

• Apple's refund policy applies to all purchases

• Refunds are subject to Apple's terms and conditions

4.6 Price Changes

• We reserve the right to modify subscription prices at any time

• Price changes will not affect your current subscription period

• You will be notified of price changes before your next renewal period

• Continued use of the App after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price

5. FREE TIER AND CREDITS

5.1 Free Access

• The App offers a free tier with limited features

• Free users receive daily credits for using premium features

• Credits reset daily and do not accumulate

5.2 Credit System

• Credits are required to use certain premium features

• Premium subscribers have unlimited access and do not require credits

• Credits are non-transferable and have no monetary value

• We reserve the right to modify the credit system at any time

6. USER CONTENT AND CONDUCT

6.1 User Content

• You retain ownership of any content you submit to the App (math problems, questions, images)

• By submitting content, you grant us a license to use, process, and store your content to provide our services

• You are solely responsible for the content you submit

6.2 Prohibited Uses

You agree NOT to:

• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

• Violate any laws in your jurisdiction

• Infringe upon intellectual property rights

• Submit harmful, offensive, or inappropriate content

• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App

• Use automated systems to access the App (bots, scrapers, etc.)

• Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality

• Share your account with others

• Use the App to cheat on exams or academic assessments

• Submit content that contains viruses or malicious code

6.3 Academic Integrity

• This App is intended as a learning tool to help you understand algebra concepts

• You should not use the App to complete assignments or exams without proper authorization

• You are responsible for ensuring your use complies with your institution's academic integrity policies

• We are not responsible for any academic consequences resulting from your use of the App

7. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY

7.1 Our Rights

• The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by us or our licensors

• All trademarks, logos, and service marks are our property or the property of their respective owners

• You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission

7.2 User Content License

• By submitting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and process your content solely for providing our services

8. AI-GENERATED CONTENT DISCLAIMER

8.1 AI Accuracy

• The App uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini AI) to generate solutions and explanations

• While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies

• You should verify AI-generated solutions, especially for important assignments or exams

• We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of AI-generated content

8.2 Educational Purpose

• The App is designed as an educational tool to aid learning

• AI-generated solutions are intended to help you understand concepts, not replace learning

• You should use the App as a supplement to, not a replacement for, traditional learning methods

9. THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

9.1 Third-Party Integration

• The App uses third-party services including:

  - Google Gemini AI (via AIProxy) for AI processing

  - RevenueCat for subscription management

  - Apple StoreKit for payment processing

• Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies

9.2 Third-Party Links

• The App may contain links to third-party websites or services

• We are not responsible for the content or practices of third-party sites

• Your use of third-party services is at your own risk

10. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTIES

10.1 Service Availability

13. TERMINATION

• You may delete the App from your device

• Cancellation of subscription does not constitute termination of these Terms for past use

13.2 Termination by Us

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause

• We may terminate your access immediately if you violate these Terms

• Upon termination, your right to use the App will cease immediately

13.3 Effect of Termination

• Upon termination, your subscription will be cancelled

• You will lose access to premium features

• We may delete your account and associated data

• Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect

14. CHANGES TO TERMS

14.1 Modifications

• We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time

• We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms in the App or on our website

• Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms

14.2 Notification

• We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of these Terms

• It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically

15. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

15.1 Governing Law

• These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which we operate, without regard to conflict of law principles

15.2 Dispute Resolution

• Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be resolved through good faith negotiation

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the use of the App and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

20. APPLE-SPECIFIC TERMS

20.1 App Store Terms

• These Terms are in addition to Apple's App Store Terms and Conditions

• You must comply with Apple's terms when using the App

• Apple is not a party to these Terms and is not responsible for the App or its content

20.2 Apple as Third-Party Beneficiary

• Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms

• Upon your acceptance of these Terms, Apple has the right to enforce these Terms against you

20.3 Subscription Management

• All subscriptions are managed through Apple's App Store

• Apple handles all payment processing

• Refunds are subject to Apple's refund policy

21. ACKNOWLEDGMENT

By using Algebra AI: Math Helper, you acknowledge that you have read these Terms, understand them, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
