FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I get an answer to a math problem?
Tap the Camera tab and scan your problem, choose a photo, or type your question in the AI Tutor tab. You can also ask by voice.
Why does the app ask "Share with AI?"
To answer your questions, your question and photo are sent to Google Gemini. The app asks for your permission first. You can change this anytime in Settings > Share with AI.
How do free credits work?
You get 2 free credits when you first open the app. Each day, if you have no credits left, you get 1 free credit. Each AI answer uses 1 credit, and a credit is only used when you receive an answer. Premium subscribers have unlimited answers.
An AI answer looks wrong or inappropriate. What should I do?
Tap the flag button below the answer. This opens an email to us with the answer included, so we can review it. AI can make mistakes, so please double-check important answers.
How do I restore my subscription on a new device?
Open the app, go to Settings or the subscription screen, and tap Restore.
How do I cancel my subscription?
On your iPhone, open Settings > [your name] > Subscriptions, choose Algebra AI, and tap Cancel Subscription. Cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period to avoid being charged again.
How do I get a refund?
Payments are handled by Apple. Request a refund at https://reportaproblem.apple.com
How do I delete my data?
Your history is stored only on your device. You can delete items in the History tab, or delete the app to remove everything. For anything else, email us.
