Lee Everett is the main character and protagonist of Season One of Telltale's The Walking Dead.  He is a kind, clever, and smart character who manages to lead the Motel Survivours until his death, in which he was bitten by a walker (zombie) in episode 4.  He also finds Clementine (the kid Lee takes care of) missing, and the bite strives him to find her and keep her safe before his death.  Lee always tries to keep Clementine safe, and will no matter try to search for her and keep her safe.  This dedication leads to his death at the end of Season 1 or his reanimation (him turning into a walker).

Duck or Kenny Jr. was the son of Kenny and Katja and survived 3 months into the outbreak.  He was one of two children (the other being Clementine) who was part of the Motel Survivors.  While bandits raid their base, Duck gets bitten by a walker and succumbs to the bite while on a train to Savannah.  From their, he is either shot by Kenny, Lee, or is left to reanimate.  He appears in Season 1 and in a flashback in Season 2.

Luke was the de facto leader of the Cabin Group in Season 2 of the Walking Dead.  He was a major ally of Clementine and tried to protect her.  He saved her in the beginning of Season 2 and he tried to save the Cabin Group from Season 2's main antagonist, Carver.  He eventually saves a baby during a shootout and gets shot in the leg, which ultimately causes his death.  As he walks over a frozen lake, the ice cracks and he falls, in which he drowns. 

Ben was a member of the Motel Survivors and the most naive featured in Season 1.  He survived with his band teacher and friend at the start of the outbreak, but they were eventually killed.  Ben also started trading supplies with an enemy which indirectly causes Duck's death as the bandits as well as walkers attack the motel.  He later confesses to Lee that he traded supplies and eventually tells Kenny, Duck's father, who rages at him and wants him dead.  Ben can first die in Crawford, a former surivivor base which was overrunned by walkers.  The other is when Clementine is kidnapped, the remaining of the Motel Survivors go and search for her, but Ben is killed midway as walkers approach him and Kenny mercy kills him.  Ben is both a liked and unliked character by the Walking Dead community.

Tripp was a member of the Prescott community in Season 3.  He was the leader of the community before it got overrun and destroyed.  He helps the main character, Javier, in almost every way possible but sometimes quarrels with him.  He stands with Javier until his last breath.  He could first die as he is executed by Joan, the main antagonist in Season 3 or could be killed as he gets overpowered by numerous walkers and breaks his neck as he falls.
