The Fujian is China's largest aircraft carrier which weighs over 80,000 tons and nearly 316 meters in length according to the PLAN. The Fujian has been involved in the conflict with the breakaway province of Taiwan and is active in the Taiwan Strait, though currently it does not have any weapons and radar systems according to analysts.

The creator of the model included Yuan Ye, the leader of the project, said that many of the details of the real ship were included in the model including the propeller anchor, electromagnetic catapults, lighting effects, and even smoke effects. The creators donated it to the People's Revolution Military Museum to mark Army Day in China on 1 August, 2022.
