Volunteer role Profile: Admin Volunteer

Why we want you:
As an admin volunteer, you could be involved in a range of activities that support our mission of rescuing and rehoming cats in the local community.
Your work will ensure the smooth running of the rescue and ensure that cats are given the opportunity to find their perfect forever home.
There are a range of activities you could be involved in as an admin volunteer, detailed below.
Activities available as an admin volunteer:
General admin support
Cat profile writer
Vet coordinator
Social media coordinator
Grants writer
Website design and maintenance
Rehoming coordinator
What you will be doing:
Liaise with foster volunteers, potential adopters, and veterinary clinics to arrange meet and greets, adoptions, and medical care.
Respond to general enquiries from the public
Create engaging content to promote cats available for rehoming and the activities of the rescue.
Use storytelling and data to write persuasive bids for funding from a range of funders.
Maintain our website, including up to date cats for rehoming and upcoming activities.
The skills you need:
Strong organisational and communication skills.
IT literacy and comfortable using your own computer to complete tasks
Ability to work with people in a non-judgemental and solution-focused way
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Able to follow instructions and act on own initiative within set boundaries
Good command of the English language both verbally and in writing
Ability to respect and maintain confidentiality
