Polaris the type of Felvarg that won't want to play the hero, but always gets himself in the situation where he has to. Well, no one forces him to play the hero, but he'll grumble about it as he does it. Despite his huge size and guarded personality, Polaris is a quite gentle varg, always putting others before him and comforting them when they need it. One would say that Polaris is addicted to adventure and the thrill of the chase and won't think twice about joining someone on one.
History
Both born into a life of war and soldiery, Polaris and Eko both quickly adapted to the grim way of life in the ranks of Loki's army. Behind Polaris' back, the other soldiers whispered of his special treatment for being a blood relative of their war commander and Eko sought to surpass Polaris' skill, special treatment or not. As Eko's rivalry with Polaris became more and more intense; a race for Loki's approval, Eko slowly became aware of that Polaris was getting no special treatment at all and made it this far on his (her at the time) own. Polaris finally defected from Loki's army, coming to the understanding that it wasn't a good place to be and the way he defected accidentally brought Eko into it. It had looked like they both defected and Eko couldn't go back, he'd be killed if he came back. Of course, Eko and Polaris were never friends but they had an understanding of each other and parted ways with "no hard feelings."
