Greetings! I am a mathematician, statistician, and data scientist in the greater Los Angeles area of Southern California. I am interested in applying contemporary mathematical approaches to a variety of data science questions. Most recently I worked as a statistical researcher in Sampling & Estimation at the USDA National Agricultural Statistics Service.

I completed my Ph.D in applied mathematics at the University of Southern California in March 2022. My doctoral supervisors at USC were Steven Heilman and Larry Goldstein.

I have researched decision-making optimization questions from probability and statistics. Specifically my dissertation focused on the mathematical theory of elections (both single- and ranked-choice voting). I am also interested in sequential analysis, machine learning, and multiple hypothesis testing.

I also create data sets related to anything I like, especially games involving decks of cards, dice rolling, and other forms of randomized outcomes.
