My name is Alex Port. I am currently employed as a Senior Data Scientist at Thrackle. I received my PhD in Mathematics from the University of Southern California in 2021 and a BS in Mathematics from the California Institute of Technology in 2015.

My research interests include quantitative finance, algebraic geometry, topological data analysis, and neural networks. My hobbies include golf, rock climbing, and game design.
