The paragenesis of iron-oxide copper-gold (IOCG) deposits from hypogene alteration and mineralization to supergene mineralization has not been previously described in detail. The Moonlight IOCG deposit, located in the Taylorsville District of the Plumas County Copper Belt, CA poses a unique opportunity to study the formation and enrichment of an economically viable IOCG deposit. The deposit is hosted in a quartz monzonite of the Lights Creek Stock (LCS).
