Ever since my first semester at Georgia Tech, I have been a part of the HyTech Racing organization. We are an award-winning Formula SAE Electric team which competes each year in Michigan at the national FSAE Electric competition. Specifically, I am a part of our Electrical sub team, which deals with designing and manufacturing all of the electrical components on the car from all of the ECU boards to each of the wiring harnesses that connect each of the electrical components.
In terms of my involvement, I have experience with a vast range of the responsibilities of the Electrical team from designing our ECU PCBs to writing the firmware that is run on them to harnessing the wires that connect to them. Detailed below are some of the projects that I have worked on and some of my most impactful takeaways.
