I am an experienced tax auditor and senior researcher at the Federal Revenue of Brazil (RFB). I am also a research fellow at the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS) and contribute to policy initiatives for organizations such as the World Bank and the Ministry of Justice of Brazil.
I hold a PhD in Economics from PIMES/UFPE, with a research period at Bocconi University. Prior to that, I earned degrees in Economics and Law, as well as an MPA from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University as a Fulbright Fellow.
I am an applied economist with interests in different topics such as taxation, political and develpment economics. My work has appeared in Valor Econômica, Folha de São Paulo, O Globo and VoxDev.
