I am a tax auditor and researcher at the Federal Revenue of Brazil (RFB). I am also a research fellow at CLEAN Unit (Bocconi University) and at the Institute for Mobility and Social Development (IMDS), a research associate at the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS)  and contribute to policy initiatives for organizations such as the World Bank and the Ministry of Justice of Brazil. 

I hold a PhD in Economics from PIMES/UFPE, with a research period at Bocconi University. Prior to that, I earned degrees in Economics and Law, as well as an MPA from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University as a Fulbright Fellow.  I received an Honorable Mention in the CAPES Thesis Award for the best doctoral thesis in Economic Sciences in Brazil.

I am an applied economist with interests in different topics such as taxation, political and develpment economics.  My work has appeared in Valor Econômico, Folha de São Paulo, O Globo and VoxDev.
