Universiti Tun Hussein Onn Malaysia (UTHM) is a public university located in Batu Pahat, Johor, Malaysia. Established in 1993 as Institut Teknologi Tun Hussein Onn (ITTHO), the institution was upgraded to university status in 2000 and subsequently renamed to honor Malaysia’s third Prime Minister, Tun Hussein Onn. BBY - BACHELOR OF TECHNOLOGY IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION WITH HONOURS 

I’m excited to share about the Bachelor of Technology in Building Construction with Honours (BBY) program, offered by the Faculty of Technical and Vocational Education (FPTV). This course is designed for anyone passionate about the construction industry and eager to develop practical, hands-on skills in building technology.

BBY isn’t just another academic program—it’s strongly rooted in TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) principles. This means it focuses on combining theoretical knowledge with real-world applications, preparing students to tackle challenges in the construction industry head-on. From learning about sustainable construction methods to mastering project management and on-site problem-solving, BBY equips students with everything they need to thrive in today’s competitive industrial environment.

What makes this program stand out is its accreditation by the Malaysia Board of Technologists (MBOT). This recognition ensures that the program meets industry standards and gives graduates professional recognition as Certified Technologists or Professional Technologists, boosting their career prospects and credibility in the field.

In addition, BBY connects students with industry practices through internships, practical workshops, and collaborations with leading construction companies.
