Alessio Cangini

Since August 2022, I am a PhD Student in Mathematics at the University of Basel under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Philipp Habegger. I am part of the Number Theory Group and a member of the Swiss Doctoral Program in Mathematics.

My research interest focuses on Number Theory, in particular on Arithmetic Dynamics. Currently,  I am working on the relative dynamical Schinzel-Zassenhaus conjecture.

From January 2023 to June 2024, I co-organised the Graduate Seminar Bernoullis Tafelrunde.
