Welcome to my website!

I am a Research Fellow at the Department of Sociology and Social Research of the University of Milan-Bicocca. 

I obtained a PhD in Applied Sociology and Methodology of Social Research at the University of Milan-Bicocca and a Master of Science (and Bachelor of Science) in Economics and Social Sciences at Bocconi University. 

I am general secretary of the European Survey Research Association and Advisory Editor for the journal Quality and Quantity: International Journal of Methodology, Associate Editor for the journal Survey Research Methods and principal investigator of the project Ageing in a DIGITAL world. A study on multiple dimensions of inequality, in old AGE (DIGITAL-AGE).

I obtained the Italian national scientific accreditation (Abilitazione Scientifica Nazionale, ASN) for associate professor in general sociology (14/C1) – valid from 01/02/2022 to 01/02/2032.

My current research interests are in the fields of survey methodology (non response, coverage error, measurement error, data linkage, new technology for data collection) and social statistics (use of new technologies in old age).
