Alessandra Aceti is a PhD student in International and European Law at Bocconi University, researching transnational environmental crimes and corporate liability.
She holds an LLM from the University of Amsterdam and is dedicated to advancing environmental justice through law.
Alessandra Aceti is a doctoral student at Bocconi University. She is enrolled in the PhD in Legal Studies – International and European Law curriculum. Her research interests lie at the intersection of eco-global criminology, criminal law, and international and European environmental law. Her PhD research especially delves into transnational environmental crimes and extraterritorial corporate liability.
Alessandra is a qualified lawyer in Italy, and she obtained an LLM in International and Transnational Criminal Law at the University of Amsterdam. Alessandra has gained experience in European Union and governmental institutions – namely, the European Anti-Fraud Office and the Permanent Delegation of Italy to UNESCO – as well as non-governmental organisations.
Alessandra embraces an intentional use of legal skills. Her work aims at pursuing social and environmental values, and advancing environmental justice through law.
