Aleksandra Kolasa

I am an economist with seven years of experience in central banking. I also work as a consultant and have prior experience as a Data Scientist in tech companies. I hold a PhD from the University of Warsaw. Recently I have led an NCN research grant on the impact of non-income related benefits.

My primary academic interests revolve around monetary poverty, inequality, and household welfare. I explore the effects of public policies and demographic processes on households’ decisions, economic efficiency, and inequalities. In my research, I work with heterogeneous agents models and mico-level data.
