I am a Ph.D Candidate in the Department of Economics at the University of California, Santa Barbara. I received my undergraduate degree in Applied Mathematics from the University of Colorado, Boulder and Master's Degrees in Applied Mathematics and Economics from the University of Colorado, Denver.
My research interests include urban and transportation economics, labor economics, demography, and econometrics. My current work examines the spatial mismatch between the residential location of the urban poor and areas of high employment growth. I investigate the potential for large public transportation capital projects to alleviate the lack of mobility and improve employment outcomes among this population.
