About Me

I am a Senior Economist in the Center for Economics at the U.S. Government Accountability Office. I earned my PhD in Economics from the University of California, Santa Barbara in June 2021.

My research interests include urban and transportation economics, labor economics, demography, and econometrics. My current work examines the spatial mismatch between the residential location of the urban poor and areas of high employment growth. I investigate the potential for large public transportation capital projects to alleviate the lack of mobility and improve employment outcomes among this population.

My non-professional activity of choice is playing ice hockey. My statistics can be found here. Python script to scrape all statistics from the Goleta Adult Hockey League can be found here.
