Welcome to AI Certificate: Award Maker ("we", "our", or "us"). We respect your privacy and are strongly committed to keeping any information we obtain from you secure and transparent. This Privacy Policy describes exactly what data our application ("App") collects, how it collects that data, all uses of that data, and how it is shared, particularly regarding third-party Artificial Intelligence (AI) services.
This policy has been specifically designed to comply with Apple's App Store Guidelines 5.1.1(i) (Data Collection) and 5.1.2(i) (Data Use and Sharing).
We collect the absolute minimum amount of data required for the App to function.
User-Provided Text Prompts: We collect the text descriptions and style selections you type into the App's text input fields when you want to design a custom certificate, diploma, or plaque.
No Personal Data or Photos Uploaded: We do not collect your name, email, phone number, or biometric data. We do not upload, scan, or read your existing photos from your device's photo library.
Data is collected exclusively through direct user input. The text prompts are collected only when you type them into the text box and explicitly tap the "Generate Design" button.
The text prompts you provide are used for one single purpose: To generate the digital certificate or plaque image you requested. We do not use your prompts for marketing, advertising, profiling, or tracking.
To generate high-quality AI images, your text prompts are securely transmitted to the following specific third-party AI service providers:
OpenAI, LLC: Your text prompt is sent to OpenAI's API to structurally enhance and optimize the description for better visual results.
Replicate, Inc. (and Black Forest Labs): The enhanced text prompt is then securely transmitted to Replicate's API (utilizing Black Forest Labs' image generation models) to physically render the visual image of the certificate.
Important Note on Data Protection: We confirm that both OpenAI and Replicate provide the same or equal protection of user data as outlined in this Privacy Policy. They process the prompts strictly as service providers to fulfill the image generation request and are prohibited from using this specific API data to identify you or build personal profiles.
(Note: The App interface explicitly asks for your permission via an "AI Data Notice" popup before sending any data to these third parties for the first time).
The App may request access to your device's Photo Library (NSPhotoLibraryAddUsageDescription / NSPhotoLibraryUsageDescription).
Why we ask: This permission is used exclusively to save the AI-generated certificate image to your camera roll when you tap the "Save" button.
What we do NOT do: We do not read, scan, modify, or upload any of your existing photos. The connection is strictly "write-only" to save your creation.
We do not store your text prompts on our servers. Once the prompt is sent to the AI providers and the image is returned to your device, the transaction is complete. Your generated images are saved locally on your device.
We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last Updated" date.
