This Privacy Policy explains how AI Birthday Cake World ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application (the "App"). We are fully committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices, especially concerning Artificial Intelligence (AI) data sharing.
When you use the App, we collect the following limited types of information:
User-Provided Text Prompts: We collect the text descriptions you manually type into the App (such as the "Profession" and "Hobbies" of a friend) that are required to design your customized birthday cake.
Photo Library Access (Add-Only): If you choose to save an AI-generated cake image to your device, we request "add-only" (write-only) permission to your device's photo gallery. We do not read, scan, upload, or modify any of your existing photos. We only add the newly generated image to your library.
Text Prompts: Collected directly from the text input fields within the App when you tap the "Bake Cake" (Generate) button.
Photos Permission: Collected via the standard iOS/Android permission prompt when you tap the "Save" button for the first time.
To Generate AI Artwork: The core functionality of our App is to generate custom images. The text prompts you provide are strictly used to instruct our third-party AI services to generate the requested birthday cake image.
No Training: We do not use your personal prompts to train our own models, nor do we use them for advertising or tracking purposes.
To provide the core functionality of generating high-quality cake photos, the App must transmit your Text Prompts to specific third-party AI services.
Before sending any data, the App presents a clear "AI Data Notice" modal explicitly identifying these third parties and requires your explicit consent ("I Agree") to proceed.
Who your data is sent to:
OpenAI, L.L.C. (OpenAI): Your short text inputs (profession and hobbies) are sent to OpenAI's API strictly to expand and enhance the prompt into a detailed photographic description.
Replicate, Inc. (Replicate) / Black Forest Labs: The enhanced text description is then sent to Replicate's API (specifically utilizing image generation models like those by Black Forest Labs) to visually render the final image.
Data Protection and Equal Safeguards: We confirm that we only share the minimum necessary data (the text prompts) required for generation. No personal identifiers (like your name, IP address, or account ID) are attached to these prompts when sent to OpenAI or Replicate. Furthermore, we confirm that these third-party AI providers offer the same or equal protection of user data as required by applicable privacy laws and Apple’s guidelines. Neither OpenAI nor Replicate uses API data to train their public models by default.
Your text prompts and generated images are processed transiently by our third-party AI providers.
Generated images and prompts are saved locally on your device within the App's secure "Gallery" storage. We do not store your generated images or text prompts on remote databases or servers owned by us.
We implement reasonable administrative, technical, and physical security measures to protect your information. Data transmitted between the App and the third-party AI APIs is encrypted in transit using industry-standard protocols (HTTPS/TLS).
Because we do not store your data on our servers, you have full control over your data directly on your device. You can delete any generated image or your entire App data by simply deleting the App from your device.
