Di te amo i grandi silenzi,
l'imponente bellezza delle
tue cime maestose,
la dolcezza dei tuoi
verdi pendii,
il fascino misterioso che
aleggia nella profonditĂ
dei tuoi boschi,
la fresca limpidezza
delle tue acque sorgive,
che scorrono in rivoli, e
ruscelli.
L'improvviso apparire
delle radure, ora
inondate di sole, ora
avvolte nell'ombra.
E sopra tutto regna
sovrana la pace,
una pace quasi irreale,
che penetra nell'intimo,
dell'animo, dimentico delle
quotidiane amarezze,
si leva libero e
felice verso il cielo.

clearings, now
bathed in sunshine, now
shrouded in the shadows.
