I am a third year PhD candidate in Mathematics working under the supervision of Dr. Christian Wuthrich at the University of Nottingham.
Previously, I did a double BSc in Mathematics and Physics at the Complutense University of Madrid and a MSc in Mathematics at the Autonomous University of Madrid. I wrote my thesis about Mazur's Control Theorem, under the supervision of Dr. Daniel Macias Castillo.
My research interests are in algebraic number theory and arithmetic geometry. More specific, I am focused in the Iwasawa theory
My main motivation is studying the Galois module structure of the Mordell-Weil and the Tate-Shafarevich groups of elliptic curves using some analytic quantities known as Kurihara numbers. The methods I use are based on the relation between Kolyvagin systems and Selmer structures of core rank 0.
