Prompt Engineering

General Information

This course was given at the Singapore-ETH Centre in 2025, and online as part of SCTL 511: Foundations of Data Analysis, a graduate-level course offered in the Supply Chain Transportation and Logistics (SCTL) master's program at the University of Washington in 2026. 

The goal is to explain basics concepts of prompt engineering so you can interact more efficiently with generative AI (e.g., ChatGPT and similar).

Slides used during the presentation are also provided.
