That is one of my biggest complaint's. It is used nationwide on all tv services and live channels. The obnoxious background noise is used to cover equipment noise in studios; in commercials too either force you back to the room to turn down volume, or trying to hear disclaimers about the products they sell.

I have been battling the Loud Background Music issue for at least 2years. The only channel that is affecting me isl NBC, especially when trying to listen to commentary on PGA Tour broadcasts and Hallmark movies. The Hallmark Movies and Mysteriesare pretty much OK. But nothing that comes in over NBC s without problems. Wich there was a way to delete the stereo sounds. I hv solved mey problem with using the captining feature, which jus appeared one day. I don't know how to regulate, restore or start that feature. Can somebody tell me how?

After so many restarts and sitting through endless installations with that music on, I set all music to 0 volume in game. It was good music the first month, then it started getting repetitive, then grating, then obnoxious.
