Juneau

The state capital of Alaska is a very unique mountain side town to visit. Famous for its ice caves in the winter, Juneau in the summer is a great spot to visit as well. Taking the tram up Mt. Roberts where you can go hiking, and take in the view looking down into town. If you're a thrill seeker, check out Alaska Zipline Adventures. You will be soaring through the alpine rainforest of Juneau. If you're into ocean life, you can take a whale watching tour, and get a chance to see breaching humpback whales.
