Pretty Soft built Al-Dhakireen, also displayed as الذاكرين, as an Islamic utility application providing daily adhkar, prayer times, prayer reminders, tasbeeh features, and optional floating remembrance tools.
This Privacy Policy explains what information the application accesses, why it is needed, how it is handled, and the choices available to users.
Al-Thakireen may request access to the device’s approximate or precise location.
Location is used only to:
Determine the user’s geographical position.
Calculate accurate prayer times for the selected location.
Update prayer times when the user changes location.
Location permission is optional. Users may deny the permission and select their location manually when that option is available.
The application does not use location information for advertising, marketing, profiling, or tracking users’ movements. Location information is processed locally on the user’s device and is not uploaded to Pretty Soft servers.
The application may request permission to send notifications.
Notifications are used to provide:
Prayer-time reminders.
Notifications before individual prayers.
Adhkar reminders.
Other reminders enabled by the user.
Users can enable, disable, or modify notification permissions through the application settings or Android system settings.
Depending on the Android version and the features enabled by the user, the application may request permission to schedule alarms, run certain reminder functions in the background, or operate reliably when the application is not open.
These permissions are used only to deliver prayer and adhkar reminders at the selected times.
When floating adhkar or floating tasbeeh features are enabled, the application may request permission to display content over other applications.
This permission allows the application to show a small adhkar or tasbeeh element on the screen. It does not allow Al-Thakireen to read messages, passwords, images, or content displayed by other applications.
This feature is optional and remains disabled unless the user enables it and grants the required Android permission.
The application may use device vibration, wake-lock, foreground-service, or battery-management capabilities to ensure that enabled reminders operate correctly.
These permissions do not provide Pretty Soft with access to personal files or private communications.
Al-Thakireen may store the following information locally on the user’s device:
Selected city, coordinates, or prayer-time location.
Prayer calculation settings.
Notification preferences.
Prayer reminder times.
Tasbeeh counts and goals.
Selected adhkar.
Theme, language, and display preferences.
Floating adhkar settings.
This information is used only to preserve the user’s settings and provide the application’s features.
The application does not require users to create an account and does not intentionally collect names, email addresses, telephone numbers, passwords, payment information, contacts, photographs, or private messages.
Information and permissions accessed by Al-Thakireen are used only to:
Calculate and display prayer times.
Deliver prayer and adhkar notifications.
Save user preferences.
Operate tasbeeh and floating-remembrance features.
Improve the reliability of features selected by the user.
Pretty Soft does not use location or device permissions for advertising, behavioral profiling, or unrelated purposes.
Pretty Soft does not sell, rent, trade, or share users’ personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
The application does not transmit the user’s location, tasbeeh activity, adhkar preferences, or prayer settings to Pretty Soft servers.
Android, Google Play, and the device manufacturer may independently process technical information as part of providing their operating-system, application-distribution, security, and device services. Their handling of information is governed by their own privacy policies.
Application settings remain stored locally until the user:
Changes or resets the settings.
Clears the application’s storage through Android settings.
Uninstalls the application.
Because Al-Thakireen does not provide user accounts or maintain personal information on Pretty Soft servers, there is no separate online account or server record that users need to request for deletion.
Clearing the application’s data or uninstalling it removes locally stored application preferences and tasbeeh records from the device, subject to the normal behavior of the Android operating system and any device backups controlled by the user.
Users remain in control of permissions granted to Al-Thakireen.
Permissions can be reviewed or revoked through:
Android Settings → Apps → Al-Thakireen → Permissions
Revoking a permission may prevent the related feature from functioning. For example, denying location access may require the user to choose a location manually, while disabling notifications prevents prayer reminders from appearing.
Pretty Soft limits the application’s access to information and permissions that are necessary for its stated Islamic utility features.
No method of electronic storage or software operation can be guaranteed to be completely secure. However, the application is designed to minimize data access and keep application preferences on the user’s device.
Al-Thakireen is a general Islamic utility application and does not knowingly request or collect personal information from children.
The application does not require account registration, social interaction, public profiles, or submission of personal details.
Parents or guardians may manage the application’s permissions through the Android device settings.
Pretty Soft may update this Privacy Policy when application features, permissions, legal requirements, or data-handling practices change.
Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised effective date. Users should review this page periodically for changes.
