Al-Kimya Origin is NOT a medical device. The services provided, including the "Lifeline SOS," "Keto Kitchen," and "Step Companion," are for informational and self-improvement purposes only. They are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or medical condition.

We collect precise and approximate location data to enable the Amanah Tracking and Safe Zones features.
Why we need it: To monitor your safety in relation to user-defined "Safe Zones" or "Hotspots."
Background Access: If you enable "Amanah Tracking," the app collects location data even when the app is closed or not in use. This ensures your designated "Primary Guardian" can be alerted via a generated WhatsApp draft if you enter a high-risk zone during a vulnerable moment.
Opt-In: You must explicitly grant this permission. You can revoke it at any time in your device settings.
Account Data: We collect your name, email address, and profile photo to create your "Murshid" or "Murid" account and synchronize your progress across devices.
Amanah Circle (Contacts): We request access to your contacts to let you select specific individuals as your "Guardians." We do not scan or upload your entire contact list. We only store the name and phone number of the specific contacts you choose to add to your circle.
Step Work: Data you enter into the "Step Companion" (journal entries, inventory lists) is stored securely to track your recovery progress.
Light Points: We track your daily streaks and habit completions.
Dietary Preferences: We process your food preferences to generate AI recipes in the "Keto Kitchen."
Manual Entries Only: We collect data you manually enter regarding debt repayment goals or savings targets.
No Banking Access: We do not connect to your bank accounts, read SMS OTPs, or process real money transactions. This feature is strictly a manual visualization tool.
We do not sell your personal data to advertisers. We share data only in the following specific scenarios:
With Your Amanah Circle (Guardians):
If you trigger an SOS or breach a Safe Zone, the app generates a pre-filled message (SMS or WhatsApp) containing your location link. You (or the automated logic you enabled) initiate this sharing.
With Your Sponsor:
Your recovery data (Step work, milestones) is shared with your linked Sponsor only if you complete the mutual "Handshake" using a unique 6-digit code. You can revoke this link at any time.
Service Providers:
Google Firebase: Used for secure cloud storage, authentication, and database services.
Google Maps SDK: Used to render maps and process geofencing coordinates.
OpenAI / Gemini API: Used strictly to generate recipe content. No personal identifiers are sent to these AI models for training purposes.
All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using TLS/SSL (Transport Layer Security). We utilize Google Firebase's industry-standard security infrastructure to protect your information. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We retain your personal data only as long as your account is active.
Your Right to Delete: You have the right to request full deletion of your account and all associated data.
In-App: Go to Settings > Account > Delete Account. This will permanently wipe your Auth credentials and Firestore documents.
External Request: You may also contact us at the email below to request manual deletion.
