2019 Youth Group Camp!
Have you ever dreamt about paddling a canoe, shooting a bow and arrow, joining with a group of other youth around a campfire or looking up at a the sky and seeing a million stars? Well, now is your chance to do all of this!
The 1st Annual al-Huda Youth Group Camp this year is scheduled for August 31, 2019 to September 2, 2019.
The Camp is an opportunity to get away from school, home, telephone, TV, and computers and live in an Islamic atmosphere of learning and fun. The education program is stimulating, full of discussions, halaqas and more. The active and motivational recreational program includes team building, canoeing, arts & crafts, swimming, water and field sports and more.
Lifelong friends are made at camp. People’s lives have been changed at camp. It is an experience you do not want to miss.
The al-Huda Youth Camp is an Islamic activity in which the youth can participate in a supervised Islamic atmosphere of learning and fun. The adult supervisors, who will be there as counselors and teachers, have children and consider all of the campers as their own.
The fee for this camp includes lodging, three meals a day, all educational and recreational activities, and transportation from Masjid al-Huda to the Camp and back. Trained staff supervise all activities.
What to expect:
The camp fee is $130 per person. This covers the bus trip from Masjid al-Huda to the camp and back to Masjid al-Huda, all food, lodging, and activities.
REGISTRATION FEE INCLUDES:
Registration fee includes: Transportation to and from Masjid al-Huda in Schaumburg and the camp site, three meals per day, a bed in an enclosed cabin, all recreational activities, liability insurance, Islamic education provided by knowledgeable teachers, and first aid services.
BOARDING AND LODGING
Three full meals will be provided daily in the cafeteria by the camp staff. All meat will be zabiha halal. Accommodations include large cabins, bunk beds and separate standard bathroom facilities.
EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS: Under the supervision of our mentors, Mawlana Asif and Alimah Hasena, the Educational Program is directed toward issues important to Muslim youth, reflecting the theme. This theme will be presented in workshops and discussions led by knowledgeable Muslims.
RECREATIONAL PROGRAMS: Recreational activities may include field and water sports, nature, arts and crafts, team-building activities and campfire. Field sports may include volleyball, softball, archery, ultimate frisbee, and others. Water sports include canoeing and swimming.
Everyone will be required to wear a life preserver in the lake or river. Qualified lifeguards will supervise all waterfront activities.

- Friday July 19, 2019 for 100% refund
- Friday August 2, 2019 for 50% refund
- After August 2, 2019 cancellation will be no refund as money would be given to the camp for their services.
