I am a researcher and academic working in the field of energy storage and conversion, with particular emphasis on the design, synthesis, and characterization of advanced ion exchange membranes for next-generation electrochemical energy systems. I completed my PhD in Energy Storage and Conversion Engineering at Jeonbuk National University, Republic of Korea, where I was recognized with multiple research excellence awards, including the President’s Research Excellence Award.
My research integrates polymer chemistry, membrane science, and electrochemistry to develop efficient materials for fuel cells, water electrolyzers, CO₂ electrolyzers, flow batteries, and hydrogen energy technologies. My work has been published in high-impact international journals such as ACS Applied Energy Materials, ACS Sustainable Chemistry & Engineering, Journal of Membrane Science, and International Journal of Hydrogen Energy.
Currently, I serve as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Co-guidance for masters/PhDs at Jeonbuk National University, Jeonju metropolitan city, Korea. I am an active reviewer for journals published by ACS, RSC, Elsevier, and Wiley, and a member of the American Chemical Society and the Royal Society of Chemistry. My broader interests include climate change, energy policy, and sustainable technology development.
