AKMS Awards

At the Academy of Management Annual Meeting, AKMS celebrates scholarships of Korean management researchers by granting awards to excellent papers by doctoral students and emerging scholars. The Award Committee Co-chairs and a panel of professors in various areas of management areas will review the submitted papers in terms of theoretical and empirical contributions and overall quality based on their research expertise. Anyone who has a conflict of interest will not be invited as a reviewer (e.g., a co-author of a submitted paper), and the review process will be double-blind. Based on the multiple reviewers’ assessments, the award winners will be determined based on the aforementioned eligibility for each scholarship and submission requirements. A scholarship(s) may be withheld when the reviewing committee believes that none of the submitted papers meet the minimum quality requirement. No applicant will receive more than one scholarship award.  The Award Committee Co-Chairs will oversee the review process of the submitted papers.
