I am Akira Tanushi (田主 陽 in Japanese), a Ph.D. candidate of the Department of Chemistry, Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
Currently I work on the development of next-generation catalysts from the viewpoint of inorganic chemistry.

5/14/19 Passed 3rd-year oral exam (independent research proposition)!
3/22/19 Collaboration work with Daly group (UIowa) and Keith group (Colgate Univ.) is published in Angew. Chem. Int. Ed!
2/8/19 A paper about my master thesis project in Nishihara lab (Univ. of Tokyo) is published in the J. Phys. Chem. C!
6/20/18 Published a paper in the J. Am. Chem. Soc.! First work since coming to Radosevich Lab (MIT).
4/20/18 Passed a second-year oral exam and officially became a Ph.D. candidate!
