Currently working in Manipal university Jaipur, India as Professor & Head, Dr. Akhilesh K. Sharma, Ph.D. from JK-SPS University, Udaipur in Computer Science and Engineering, Post-graduation (M.E.) in CSE from Devi Ahilya (DAVV) University (Indore), has done graduation (B.E.) in engineering discipline with CSE from Rajiv Gandhi Technical University. He has won the best research proposal award by ACM and CSI (Computer Society of India) Udaipur chapter. His area of interests include Big data analytics, deep learning, classification and clustering methods, Data mining and machine learning, cognitive intelligence etc. He has many technical research papers in international and national journals conferences. He has completed a few sponsored projects in the area of R&D, Thrust and Modernization. He has guided a number of scholars for B. Tech, M. tech and PhD degree in engineering discipline. He has visited several places for presenting research papers, chairing sessions and delivering lectures like IITs, NITs, Vietnam, and China etc. He is a Senior Member of Indo-U.S. Collaboration in Engineering Education (IUCEE), Senior Member IEEE, Senior Member ACM, and Member IEI, Member Computer Society of India (CSI) and Member compliance committee of MIR Labs Washington, USA. He has worked in reputed engineering institutes of India with exemplary service of more than 15 years. He has organized conferences, faculty development programs, workshops and seminars. He has successfully organized NBA and NAAC accreditations in the institutes where he has worked. He has been invited as expert committee member of various committees at AICTE, NBA, NAAC etc. Due to his meritorious contributions in the field of education, he has been awarded Best paper Award, Nanyang Technology University, Singapore as visiting research scientist etc. He has received Best teacher award for his contributions in academics. Currently he is working as Associate Professor in Manipal University Jaipur. He is an accomplished scientist with large number of research publications to his credit. He is actively involved in computational and experimental research work. Good number of research scholars work with him and contribute in scientific development. His interests in Deep learning, machine learning, Big data analytics has built a large fan following with many senior scientists visiting his laboratory. He is an asset to the institute and contributes in academic, research and development activities and leads his research community. He was the recipient of the Rajiv Gandhi Sadbhavna award given by Mrs. Sonia Gandhi at 10 janpath. He visited IIT Indore to deliver guest lecture on Big data analytics and data mining issues. He was succeeded to fetched/received grant from DeItY (GOI) and successfully conducted industrial excursion and ESDM workshop for the university students. Recently he has been awarded by IEAE for the distinguished research excellence award for the year 2017. He also awarded for the best research proposal award by ACM and CSI in DocCon-2016. He has visited Vietnam as a Keynote speaker in ICCASA-2017 in Quang Nam University, Tam Ky, Quang Nam, Vietnam. He has also offered consultancy services to IT industry as well in his domain. He recently travelled to Thailand (KMUTNB-Bangkok and Mahasarakham University) on academic visit under the select endowment fund from university for two weeks. He also invited as keynote speaker in Vietnam in ICCASA 2018 at viet tri city of Hanoi-Vietnam. He has initiated MOU with Warsaw University of Poland, King Mongkuts University of Thailand North Bangkok (KMUTNB) with MUJ (Manipal University Jaipur) and collaboration of research and many activity has been started already. Invited as ACM Student chapter representative in Chitkara University, COMPUTE-2018 in Sept-18. Convener ACM All India Summit in Manipal University Jaipur where eminent speakers and researchers take part from various parts of the country. Organizing member ICCT2019 at Manipal University Jaipur India.He has worked as an editorial board member of various journals and conferences and reviewed various research articles of national and International importance. He is currently running ACM chapter in Manipal University Jaipur India which has bagged the best chapter award and 500 USD award from ACM international NY HQ. Got 6 Patents and 5 copyrights to his credit.

1. Awarded for the ACM chapters excellence award with USD 500 award money from ACM NY HQ at MUJ for the year 2019.2. Awarded for the best student chapter award for ACM Student chapter at MUJ for the year 2019.3. Awarded for the Best Research Proposal award-2016 in Doctoral Conference (DocCon-2016) (A pre-event to ICTCS 2016) which was organized by ACM and CSI India at Udaipur on March 3, 2016. The event comprised of presentations of 80 research proposals by young scientists from across the country. I presented proposal titled “Mood based Music Analysis and their effect on Human Psychology”. The event followed by two rounds in which 10 proposals were shortlisted from total 80.4. Awarded for Distinguished Research Excellence award-2017 for contribution in high quality research in the engineering discipline in July 2017 by IEAE (Institute for Exploring Advances in Engineering).
