Career Summary

Currently working as Professor in the Dept. of Computer Science & Engineering, at Christ(Deemed to be University, Bangalore. I have more than two decades of experience in teaching, research and administration.

Received an Award for Research Excellence in association with the Ministry of Skill Development, Govt. of India at Indo-Global Skills Summit & Expo 2017, Bangalore on July 24, 2017 for the recognition of research publications indexed by SCI, Web of Science, Google scholar, Scopus, DBLP, IEEE, Springer, Elsevier etc. Received several best paper awards in the international conferences. Authored three books published by reputed International Journals. Published more than 150 research papers in the reputed & peer reviewed International and National journals and conferences. Guided 9 PhD candidates successfully.

Worked two years in abroad. One year as Professor in King Khalid University(ABET Accredited), Kingdom of Saudi Arabia(2015-16) where was Coordinator for ABET accreditation process(Curriculum Development) and successfully received accreditation for the first time. Worked as Professor in Karary University, Ministry of Defence, Republic of Sudan(2007-08).

Worked in different capacities as Chairman of Board of Studies & Board of Examiner of Visvesvaraya Technological (VTU) and other Universities such as Kuvempu University, Gulbarga University, Karnataka University and actively taken major role in designing Course curriculum, syllabus, Examination and evaluation system for UG/PG/PhD programmes.
