# Privacy Policy for Aisle
**Last updated: August 6, 2026**
Thank you for using Aisle ("the App"), a wedding-planning companion. This policy
explains exactly what the App does and does not handle.
## The short version
- Everything you plan — your date, budget, guests, vendors, photos — stays **on your
device**. We never receive it, and we could not read it if we wanted to.
- Aisle has **no account, no sign-up, and no login**.
- Aisle contains **no advertising and no ad tracking**.
- Every feature keeps working with **no internet connection**.
- Aisle does send **anonymous usage statistics** so we can see which parts of the app
people actually reach. Details below.
## What stays on your device
When you use Aisle, you may enter your wedding date, budget and expenses, vendor
details and contracts, your guest list and seating plan, and inspiration photos for
your vision board. All of it is:
- Stored **locally on your device only**, using Apple's on-device storage (SwiftData).
- **Never** uploaded or transmitted to us or to any third party by the App.
- Accessible only to you, on your device.
If you have iCloud device backup switched on in your iOS settings, your device backup
— including app data — is handled by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy. Aisle
itself does not control or read that backup.
## Anonymous usage statistics
To understand whether the App is useful — for example, how many people finish setting
up their plan — Aisle sends anonymous product-usage events to **TelemetryDeck**, a
privacy-focused analytics service based in the European Union.
**What is sent:** the name of an action that happened, such as "a task was completed"
or "the guest list was opened". Where a count is relevant it is sent as a **range**
("25–49 guests"), never an exact figure.
**What is never sent:** anything you typed or chose. No names, no wedding date, no
amounts of money, no guest or vendor details, no photos, no notes, no contact details.
**How you are identified:** by a random identifier generated on your device the first
time the App runs, which is then cryptographically hashed before it is sent. It is not
your Apple ID, not your device ID, and not your advertising identifier. It is not
shared with anyone and cannot be used to contact you or to recognise you anywhere else.
Deleting the App discards it permanently.
Events are stored on your device until there is a network connection, then sent. They
are used only in aggregate, to make product decisions.
## Photos
If you add photos to your vision board, the App uses Apple's standard photo picker so
you choose the specific images you want. They are stored **locally within the App** and
are never uploaded or shared. Aisle does not request access to your whole photo library.
## Notifications
Reminders are scheduled **on your device** by iOS. They are not push notifications;
no server is involved and no information leaves your device to produce them.
## Purchases
Aisle Pro is a one-time purchase handled entirely by Apple. Payment is processed by
Apple under Apple's privacy policy — we never see your payment details. The App only
asks Apple whether this Apple Account owns the unlock.
## Children's privacy
Aisle is rated 4+ and does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone,
including children.
## Your control
- To delete specific items, remove them within the App.
- To delete **everything**, use "Start over" in Settings, or delete the App from your
device — that permanently removes all locally stored data.
- To stop usage statistics entirely, delete the App.
## Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will appear here with an updated
"Last updated" date.
