AI Reminder Privacy Policy
Effective date: June 10, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how "AI Reminder" (the "App") handles and protects user data. By using the App, you acknowledge the data practices described in this policy.
1. Developer and contact information

2. What the App does
The App helps users create reminders with AI assistance. Users can type or speak reminder requests, and the App parses the request into a task, reminder time, and alarm notification.
The App may support AI providers selected or configured by the user, such as OpenAI or Google Gemini. Users provide their own API key, and the App uses that API key to send parsing requests to the selected AI provider.
3. Data the App may process
The App may process the following types of data.
3.1 Reminder text entered by the user
When you type or speak a reminder request, the App processes that text, such as "Remind me tomorrow at 5 PM to attend a meeting." This content is used to create reminders, parse dates and times, generate alarm messages, and display to-do items.
If you use the AI parsing feature, the reminder text may be sent to the AI provider you selected or configured, such as OpenAI or Google Gemini, in order to generate the parsed reminder result.
3.2 Voice and microphone
When you actively use the voice input feature, the App requests microphone access to convert your speech into text for reminder creation.
The developer does not actively collect or store your original audio recordings. Speech recognition may be handled by your device operating system, Google speech services, Apple speech services, or another speech recognition service available on your device. The exact processing may depend on your device, operating system version, and speech settings.
3.3 API keys and AI settings
AI API keys, selected AI provider, model selection, and related settings entered in the App are stored locally on your device. The developer does not actively collect, read, or upload your API keys.
When you use AI parsing, the App uses your configured API key to send requests to the AI provider you selected. You are responsible for reviewing that AI provider's terms, privacy policy, data practices, usage limits, and any fees that may apply.
3.4 Reminders, alarms, and notifications
The App stores reminder tasks, reminder times, alarm messages, snooze settings, and alarm sound settings on your device so it can notify you at the selected time.
To provide reminder functionality, the App may request system permissions such as notifications, alarms, foreground service, vibration, and wake-lock permissions. These permissions are used only to deliver reminders and alarms at the selected time.
3.5 Subscription and purchase information
The App uses Google Play Billing and RevenueCat to process subscriptions, verify purchase status, restore purchases, and manage Premium access.
Payments are processed by Google Play. The App does not receive your full payment card number or full payment credentials. RevenueCat may process anonymous user identifiers, subscription status, purchase receipts, product identifiers, transaction status, and related device or diagnostic information to verify subscription entitlement.
4. How the App uses data
The App uses data to:
- Convert voice or typed content into reminder tasks.
- Use AI services to parse reminder times, task content, and alarm messages.
- Store and display reminders and to-do items on your device.
- Send notifications or alarms at the selected time.
- Store App settings, such as API key, AI model, alarm sound, and snooze duration.
- Verify subscription status, provide Premium features, and restore purchases.
- Maintain App stability, troubleshoot issues, and improve the user experience.
5. Sharing data with third-party services
The App may interact with or share necessary data with the following third-party services.
5.1 AI providers
When you use AI parsing, the App may send your typed or speech-recognized reminder text, along with necessary language, time, and time zone context, to the AI provider you selected, such as OpenAI or Google Gemini.
Each AI provider processes data according to its own terms of service and privacy policy.
5.2 Google Play
Google Play processes subscription payments, orders, refunds, cancellations, and payment-related data. Payment information is managed by Google Play. The App does not receive your full payment card number.
5.3 RevenueCat
RevenueCat is used to verify subscription status and manage Premium access. RevenueCat may process subscription-related anonymous identifiers, receipts, transaction information, and product information.
5.4 Operating system and speech recognition services
When you use voice input, speech recognition may be handled by Android, Google speech services, iOS, Apple speech services, or other speech recognition services available on your device.
6. Data storage and retention
The App primarily stores reminders, App settings, API keys, AI model settings, and alarm sound settings locally on your device.
You can clear or change your API key in the App settings. You can also delete the App to remove locally stored App data from your device. Please note that deleting the App usually does not cancel a Google Play subscription. You must cancel subscriptions through Google Play's subscription management tools.
Third-party services such as Google Play, RevenueCat, OpenAI, or Google Gemini may retain data according to their own policies.
7. Data deletion
The App does not currently provide a developer account system and does not require users to create an App account.
You can manage or delete data by:
- Clearing or changing your API key in the App settings.
- Deleting reminders stored in the App.
- Removing App permissions in system settings, such as microphone or notification permissions.
- Deleting the App to remove locally stored App data.
- Managing subscription data through Google Play subscription settings or by contacting Google Play or RevenueCat.
If you have questions about data deletion, you may contact us using the contact information in this policy.
8. Data security
We care about data security. The App uses reasonable measures to protect user data, such as:
- Storing API keys locally in secure storage on your device.
- Using secure connections such as HTTPS when communicating with third-party services.
- Not selling user personal data.
- Not actively collecting full payment card numbers.
However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure. Please avoid entering highly sensitive, confidential, or legally protected information into reminder content.
9. Advertising and tracking
The App currently does not include third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell or share user data for advertising purposes.
If advertising, analytics, or additional data processing features are added in the future, this Privacy Policy will be updated and any required disclosures or consent mechanisms will be provided according to platform policies and applicable laws.
10. Children's privacy
The App is not designed specifically for children and is not directed primarily at children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.
If you are a parent or guardian and believe that a child has provided personal data through the App or related services, please contact us and we will take reasonable steps to address the issue.
11. User responsibilities
Users decide what reminder content they enter and which AI provider they use. Please do not enter sensitive data, confidential information, medical information, legal information, financial information, government identifiers, passwords, or other highly sensitive content into the App if you do not want that content to be sent to a third-party AI provider.
If you use your own API key, you are responsible for protecting that API key and for any usage fees, quota limits, or third-party terms that may apply.
12. Changes to this Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated policy will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
