The FlightFactor A320 cockpit for instance is more immersive for me because it has many of those details (in terms of 3d modelling, font, texturing, lighting also buttons are moving when pushed, displays flicker, certain systems need time to boot up [e.g. APU start switch can't be turned on right after pushing the APU master switch] etc.) and that's one of the reasons I'm flying that one much more. I hope the ToLiSS A319 can also be improved in that regard.

I took your shots and assembled them in the todo list for my 3d modeller for V1.2. (V1.1.1 will be bug fixes only, no cosmetics.) I will take the missing elements seriously, but when talking about the "boldness" of the font, we are talking about a never-ending story, because no matter how I change it, somebody will always complain. For that the amount of added value stands in no relation to the underlying work. But again: Items that are missing will be added with V1.2.

About the MCDU font: As Nemov said, the newer MCDUs have the I and the J as currently in V1.1 (If you compare with V1.0.2, you will see that the older versions had I and J as shown in your photos.) I changed this on purpose to reflect the newer software standard.

Regarding the font's boldness, the FFA320's font seems thinner (more real) to me (or just somehow better embedded in the surrounding texture?). But yeah, the readability is a good point...however, personally I like it more real and if I can't read something properly I just zoom in more. On the other hand, as you've already mentioned...one can't please everyone.

I've had no luck searching online or through the aerosoft folders. There is a mention in an xml file to a font called "MCDUa", but this appears to be the screen font and in any case I cannot find it in the folders. I am guessing it will be all wrapped up in some prioprietary library that I can't access?

For Airbus, the objective of the project is the provision of a soft- ware component: a digital typeface consisting of a set of variants (vector fonts) for the optimal display of textual information on screens of future Airbus programs. This font will be an integral part of all systems and devices of the aircraft: cockpit displays for CDS systems (avionics), OIS (information), OMS (maintenance), and cabin display screens for the FAP (control panel).

In order to ensure clear and rapid identification, the typeface design has respected basic shape characteristics to allow for good visual information on the graphic characteristics unique to each letter. The variations in thickness of each mark retain the natural contrast of each letter. Linear marks (with no thickness contrast), as that of the CDS font (actual cockpits), were excluded.

I've created a font specifically for the registration decals on many repaints used by a majority of airlines around the world. Hope this helps with the finishing touches on your repaints. Details on how to access different characters etc are explained in the readme!

Omg, I've needed this so bad as United has used this font on all newly painted EvoBlue planes and I tried for HOURS for MONTHS to find it and I never could. I finally found it thanks to you. HUGE THANKS!!!

Fantastic, thank you! As a graphic designer the small things like a proper registration font were always details that I notice, so it's great to be able to use something that actually looks like it is the correct font!

My first impressions of the new MCDU (Multi-Function Control and Display Unit) was slightly disappointing? I thought at first it looks exactly like the generic FMC, not at all like an Airbus style font? Actually it is an Airbus B612 font design, but the wrong one for the aircraft, this font is only used on the A350/A380... but it grows on you, by the end of this update, I quite liked it.

The Airbus logo is the result of work by a whole team of designers. The modern version with the word mark is based on the previous graphic sign, where a circular emblem complemented the word. The creators retained the original bold sans-serif font.
