Introduction
Air Query is a platform built exclusively for Air University Pakistan students. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our app.
Who Can Use This App
Air Query is strictly limited to Air University Pakistan students with valid university email addresses. By using this app, you confirm that you are a student of Air University Pakistan.
Information We Collect
We collect the following information to provide app functionality:
Personal Information: Your Air University email address, collected during registration and used for account management and communication. Your passwords are encrypted and not even visible to Air Query development team.
Profile Information: Your full name, campus location (e.g. Islamabad E9 Campus), current semester, and activity statistics including queries posted, answered, and resolved. This is used solely for app functionality and personalization.
User Generated Content: Queries and responses you post within the app, which are visible to other Air University students on the platform.
Device Identifiers: Your device's FCM token, used exclusively to send you push notifications about activity on your queries and responses.
App Activity: Anonymous analytics data about how you interact with the app, used to improve the user experience.
How We Use Your Information
We use collected information exclusively to operate and improve Air Query. Specifically to authenticate your identity as an Air University student, display your profile and activity to other students, deliver push notifications, and analyze app usage patterns to improve functionality.
Data Sharing
We DO NOT sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. Your data is stored and processed solely through Google Firebase services, which are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
Data Retention and Deletion
You may delete your account at any time from within the app under Settings → Delete Account. Upon deletion, all your data is permanently and irreversibly removed including your profile, all queries you posted and their responses, all responses you posted on other queries, and your device token. This action cannot be undone.

Data Security
All data is stored securely on Google Firebase with strict access controls. Your email is verified before any data access is granted.
Children's Privacy
Air Query is intended for Air University students who are 12 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 12. If we become aware that a user is under 12, their account will be removed.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any significant changes through the app. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
