AIM Recital Showcase – Show Day Info
We are so excited to celebrate our dancers on stage during this year’s Recital Showcase at the Virginia Theatre! Below is everything you need to know to ensure performance day goes smoothly for you and your dancer.
Arrival Time:
All dancers should arrive 30–45 minutes before their scheduled showtime
All parent monitors should also arrive 30–45 minutes prior to showtime
Costumes & Quick Changes:
Dancers must bring all costume changes in a clearly marked garment bag
Parents are responsible for helping their own dancer(s) with costume changes
Parents will be allowed to leave the audience to assist backstage and then return to their seats
Dressing room assignments and more detailed instructions will be shared in May
Younger Dancers:
After their performance, younger dancers may sit with their parents in the audience
They will rejoin for the finale lineup at the end of the show
A special East Lobby “Kid Zone” will be available for our youngest dancers who get squirmy—complete with coloring, drawing, and movies!
During the Show:
Estimated run time: 3.5 hours
All dancers will sit in the balcony when they’re not on stage so they can watch and support their peers
We want the experience to be fun and inspiring—this is their moment to shine and soak it all in!
More Info Coming Soon:
In May, we’ll send additional details about:
Dressing room locations
What to bring
Finale lineup instructions
Entrance/exit logistics for parents
We can’t wait to celebrate all of the hard work, growth, and joy your dancers bring to the stage. Thank you for being part of the AIMazing journey with us!
