Parent Monitors/ Volunteers & Misc Information

IMPORTANT: We will need strong parent support to help monitor dancers throughout both rehearsals and performances. This year, we are requiring a minimum of three parent volunteers per class for each rehearsal and show. With the size of the venue and the many moving parts backstage, this support is essential to keep things running smoothly and safely.

In order to focus fully on running the production, AIM Staff will not be monitoring classes this year, as we simply do not have enough staff to cover both backstage operations and dancer supervision. We will be returning to a parent-monitored system, as in the past.

Sign-up sheets for each class will be posted on the studio walls in both Champaign and Mahomet, and parents will be able to select their preferred times directly on those sheets. These will be available soon. Note: we will NOT have an online sign up, as it does not work as well as being visual in the studios.

Parent volunteers will not need to purchase a ticket for the show they are assisting with.
