If you have been with AIMPAC 5 or more years, we would like to recognize you! If you previously filled out the link for recognition, your child will be recognized after their last dance number on showcase day.

There are certain requirements that all students must meet in order for us to keep a high caliber of performance. The following requirements apply to Dress Rehearsal and Showcase:
NO FOOD, GUM, DRINKS, OR SMOKING is permitted at any time in the Dressing Rooms or Auditorium. Please do not allow your child to eat in their Showcase costumes.If your child is performing during a mealtime or will be there all day, you will need to provide a snack or sack lunch that can be eaten outside of dressing rooms and auditorium.
HAIR REQUIREMENTS
All hair should be neat, secure, and performance ready.
All hairpieces go on the dancer’s RIGHT side.
Combo Classes: Half up, half down with curls
Ballet Classes: Center part, low bun
Jazz, Tap & Contemporary Classes: Center part, low ponytail
Company: Company hair
Bridge: Bridge hair
-HATS & HEADPIECES - If your dancer's costume(s) includes a hat/headpiece please be sure to secure well with several bobby pins (not just 1 or 2). Be sure to “X” them on each side of the head if possible. Please use neutral color hair pins ex: blonde hair light color bobby pins,
brown hair, brown bobby pins.
MAKE-UP must be worn for Dress Rehearsal and Showcase Day. It must be “stage make-up” (example – lipstick,
blush on cheeks, eye shadow, and mascara) in order for your child not to wash out under the theatrical lighting. Eye
shadow colors should be neutral tones that will best suit your child's skin tone.
COSTUME – You will receive your costumes and all necessary accessories during costume week. If
accessories are included, please baste or pin them. No underwear are to be worn under any costume with the
exception of most hip hop costumes. As a reminder, NO eating or drinking in costumes other than water.
TIGHTS – If you have not already ordered these, they must be purchased by you. Specific tights can be find these at 5678 Dancewear Defined or you may purchase elsewhere. We kindly ask that they are the Bloch brand in the correct colors for your dancers class(es). The specific colors we use are Pink, Btan(for light to medium skin tones), or Suntan(for darker skin tones). SHOES – Tap Elastic must be in tap shoes and/or black tap ties double knotted. Ballet strings must be cut and
tucked in.
DRESSING ROOM/BACKSTAGE PROTOCOL-
- Assigned stage mothers will assist with keeping the group backstage/dressing area - due to limited space, we ask that there only be ONE stage mother per class. If you would like to be a stage mom, please let your child's teacher know during costume week. Stage moms are necessary for combo classes and lower level classes such as levels 1-3.
- Parents not permitted backstage (stage moms only, if necessary)
-*IMPORTANT*- NO PHOTOS OR VIDEOS IN DRESSING ROOM!! NO EXCEPTIONS!
-Main Dressing area for women & small children only/Men's Dressing area for men & boys only. If dad will be the one helping their daughter get ready, please let us know ahead of time so that we can make plans to have hands on deck for you, just in case! We are here to help!
PERFORMANCE PROCESS FOR DANCERS-
-Dancers will gather in dressing area after they are all ready
- One of our clearly marked staff members will come and get your dancers as a group. They will then take the group to be lined up quietly backstage. Once it is their turn, dancers will go on stage with the help of our staff members, if needed.
-Once finished with their dance, our staff members will walk them off stage and back into their designated dressing area to meet up with their parent/guardian.
-After your dancers performance- you are not obligated to stay and watch the Showcase but we highly recommend hanging around to see what some of our wonderful classes, competition team, & performance program all have in store!
-Parents, guardians, and spectators are asked to stay seated through any performance that is on stage. If you need to leave the auditorium, please do so ONLY when the lights are down in between performing pieces.
ADDITIONAL DRESS REHEARSAL/SHOWCASE DETAILS TO CONSIDER:
- It is important that ALL students attend the rehearsal to learn stage procedures for the following day. This is the only "practice time" on the BIG stage before the Showcase.
- We ask that all dancers arrive dressed, with makeup and hair done on BOTH days. A cover-up is recommended to be worn over costumes.
- Report to designated dressing rooms 30 minutes before first number on BOTH days. Times listed to the top left indicate performance slots for Dress Rehearsal as well as the Showcase Day. There will be different times due to different start times for each date. Number order will remain the same- just different times! If you have any questions about the order of showcase pieces, please let us know!
- Modesty considerations for children - Please ensure that dancers have the correct undergarments
- Restroom use encouraged before dance times! This is ESSENTIAL for all combo aged dancers!
- Remember, there is assistance available for dads dressing daughters! Please let us know in advance to make plans for this.
- We kindly ask you to pickup your child promptly after performing so that our staff members can assist the next group.
-NO SAVING SEATS FOR SHOWCASE DAY! We can assure you that we plan for a large venue- one that is big enough to fit your whole family with great views! This is important to us! We want everyone to enjoy!
-Parents, guardians, and spectators are asked to stay seated through any performance that is on stage. If you need to leave the auditorium, please do so ONLY when the lights are down in between performing pieces.
- *IMPORTANT* Cameras allowed ONLY during Dress Rehearsal- We will have a professional company on site to film for showcase day. If you do use your own camera at the rehearsal, please ensure that your FLASH is turned off. Please no tripods or stands.
-PLEASE DON’T FORGET TO WRITE YOUR CHILD’S NAME IN ALL COSTUMES, ACCESSORIES, AND SHOES!! We do our best to grab anyting left behind but we cannot guarantee all lost & found items will make it back to our studio following the Showcase.
1. Parking & Arrival
Free parking in the main lot; overflow & additional parking are marked on the Parking Map. The GREEN on this map indicates where it is safe to park. The orange & red are to be avoided to abide by safety laws. Please read this map carefully! We will be performing in BUILDING 3 as shown on this parking map.
Lobby doors open 45 minutes before showtime. Auditorium doors open no more than 30 minutes before showtime!

2. Programs
Digital: FREE version of the program availble to scan. This will be posted throughout the venue on the day of showcase ONLY.
Printed Programs: Pre‑orders will be ready for pickup just inside the lobby on the day of showcase ONLY - A VERY limited number of extras will be for sale (they are first come first serve, No Holds, check with family first so you don’t buy twice. Please also note that we will be releasing the pre-ordered programs to whoever comes and verifies the name of the person that initially placed the order.
Ex: If Uncle Bob came to pickup the pre ordered program in place of the person who placed the initial order, we will verify our list & then allow for release to him.
3. Concessions & Flowers (Concessions & Gifts ONLY AVAILABLE on DAY OF SHOWCASE)
CHARCUTERIE CUPS made fresh by our friends at SAVOR will be available for purchase on the morning of showcase!
PLUS more options to buy: Water, light snacks, and more! We are trying to solidify details on having an outdoor coffee cart.
Please note that concessions will not be open until the event start time. PLEASE NOTE: Venmo & Cash are the only acceptible form of payments at the concessions. Concessions pricing will be available and posted on the day of Showcase only.
Love Of Dance Bouquets & Gifts will be setup in the lobby on the day of showcase. Congratulate your dancer with a gift from their wonderful selection!
4. Entering & Seating VERIFY THIS PART BELOW
Auditorium opens 30 minutes before showtime. Please enter or exit only between dances; doors stay closed during each routine.
No flash photos or personal video, our professional videographer has it covered!
5. Audience Etiquette
Applause and cheers are encouraged! Please keep aisles clear and stay seated while dancers are onstage. Please ONLY enter & exit the auditorium in between dance numbers. (once the dancers number is fully finished and the lights go down)
6. Dressing Rooms
Dressing rooms and backstage hallways are for Performers, A parent, & Designated Volunteers and AIMPAC Staff only. We will have the venue clearly marked with our signs so that you can navigate with ease! Please note that our signs will follow our colors/theme of the showcase theme (shown at the top of this page-Blue/Tan & with our name on them)
7. Departure
Dancers may leave with their family once their last dance has performed. You are not asked to stay for the full show but we do encourage you to watch a few dances in the show, if you have the chance!

The per family media fee of $30 covers a FULL digital download copy of the annual showcase. No need to worry about ordering this footage! We will be sending updates on this as we recieve them!

TIGHTS ORDER
Specific tights details for your child's dance number(s) can be found under the Costume Lookbook tab.
If you ordered tights, they will be passed out in one of your childs listed classes when recieved and inventory has been taken.
A detailed parking chart will be included on the info page—with green, red, and orange zones clearly marked.
Green = SAFE TO PARK — no risk of tickets
Red = DO NOT PARK — high risk of towing or ticketing
Orange = SCHOOL ZONE RESTRICTIONS — usually not allowed during school hours, but should be fineas schools are out for summer
