Hello!
Hello!
Hello! My name is Aimeric Malter and I am currently a Postdoctoral Fellow at Bejing Institute of Mathematical Sciences and Applications (BIMSA), where I am working with Dr Will Donovan and Dr Artan Sheshmani. I undertook my PhD at the Univeristy of Birmingham, UK, under the supervision of Dr Tyler Kelly. Before my position at BIMSA, I was a JSPS Postdoctoral Research Fellow at Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology, working with Dr Yuki Hirano. My research concerns the study of derived categories and their influence in Algebraic Geometry and Mirror symmetry. Of particular interest to me lately has been the study of non-commutative resolutions.
Papers and preprints:
Toric Exoflops and Categorical Resolutions, joint with T. Kelly, arXiV:2407.19822 (2024).
A derived equivalence of the Libgober-Teitelbaum and the Batyrev-Borisov mirror constructions, International Mathematics Research Notices (2023).
New Looks at Old Number Theory, joint with D. Schleicher and D. Zagier, American Mathematical Monthly, Vol 120, No. 3, pp 243-264.
