Our research covers a wide range of areas, from Neuromorphic hardware to AI algorithm.
We especially focus on Neuromorphic hardware / PIM system / Algorithm-Hardware co-optimization, and leverage different types of memory devices:
1) Charge-based memory (SRAM and DRAM)
2) Resistive memory (PRAM, MRAM, and Skyrmion)
Our research area includes the following applications.
Neuromorphic Hardware design based on conventional and emerging memory devices
Research on the hardware-driven AI algorithm improvement
Algorithm and hardware co-optimization for neuromorphic hardware
Process-In-Memory (PIM) application system design based on CMOS peripheral & Memory device co-design for unconventional computing problems, such as NP-problem, boolean operation, associative memory, etc.
Memory interface (Read/Write/High-speed IO) design and analysis
