About me

I am a PhD candidate in Health Economics at the University of Groningen. My research focuses on how socioeconomic, biological, and environmental factors shape health inequalities over the life course. I work with rich longitudinal data and combine causal and descriptive methods with machine-learning tools to study when, how, and for whom health inequalities emerge. 

My research interests include socioeconomic health inequality, the health impacts of environmental exposures, and healthy ageing.

My PhD defence is scheduled for 28 January 2027, with the dissertation entitled “Health Inequality: Measurement, Determinants, and Dynamics.”
