Response to creative prompt: "When I look in the mirror, I see..."
When I read the prompt I thought, when I look in the mirror all I see is bills and pills. bills new and long overdue from doctor appointments and denied assistance and financial mess. pills to balance the brain and pain that, eventually plateau out and have to be switched off. but that's what chronic illness seems to be.
