• Selected Photos: The App processes the photos selected by the user to convert them into ID photos.

• Device Storage Access Permission: The App requires access to the device’s storage to allow users to select and save photos.

• Usage Statistics Data: The App may collect anonymized usage statistics for the purpose of improving the App and fixing errors.
  ❗ The App does not store or share sensitive personal information (e.g., biometric data, location data, contacts, etc.).

2. Purpose of Information Usage

The collected information is used for the following purposes:

• Providing background removal features using AI technology

• Applying various country-specific ID photo sizes

• Offering brightness and background color adjustment features

• Enabling photo saving and printing functionality

• Improving app performance and fixing errors

3. Sharing and Disclosure of Information

AiHippo does not sell, exchange, rent, or share users' personal information with third parties, except in the following cases:

• When required by law or upon request from government authorities

• When necessary for service provision (e.g., cloud service providers)

• When the user has given prior consent

4. Information Storage and Protection

• For users with Android OS 12 or higher, photos are processed only within the App.

• For users with Android OS lower than 12, due to hardware limitations, AI processing is performed via a server.

• Photos selected on the user’s device remain stored until the user manually deletes them.

• The App applies the latest security technologies to protect user information.

5. User Rights

Users may exercise the following rights at any time:

• Deleting stored data via the App's settings

• Uninstalling the App to remove all data

6. Changes to the Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy may be updated as necessary. In the event of significant changes, users will be notified through an in-app notice.
