Welcome to AIFishFinder ("we," "our," or "us"), developed and operated by Telegasim Technologies. This document contains both our Privacy Policy and our strict Legal Disclaimer. By downloading, accessing, or using the AIFishFinder mobile application, you agree to the terms outlined below.
PART 1: LEGAL DISCLAIMER & TERMS OF USE (Please read carefully as this affects your legal rights)
1. No Life-Safety or Navigational Guarantee AIFishFinder provides weather forecasts, AI-driven fishing scores, and location mapping for informational and entertainment purposes only. The app relies on third-party data (such as Open-Meteo). We do NOT guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of this data. AIFishFinder is NOT a substitute for official NOAA weather broadcasts, Coast Guard warnings, or certified marine navigational equipment.
2. Assumption of Risk Boating, wading, and fishing (both inshore and offshore) are inherently dangerous activities subject to rapidly changing and unpredictable weather conditions, especially in Florida and the Gulf Coast. You assume all risks associated with your decisions. Under no circumstances shall Telegasim Technologies be held liable for any property damage, vessel loss, personal injury, or death resulting from the use of this application.
3. AI Recommendations are Estimates Our AI Scoring Engine is a predictive algorithm based on general fishing theories (Solunar, Barometric, Seasonal). It does NOT guarantee that you will catch fish, nor does it guarantee that the recommended spots are legally accessible or physically safe. Always obey local Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) regulations and private property signs.
PART 2: PRIVACY POLICY
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we handle your data in compliance with the Florida Information Protection Act (FIPA), the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), and Google Play Developer Policies.
1. Information We Collect
Location Data: To provide accurate weather and fishing recommendations, we request access to your device's precise (GPS) and approximate location. This data is processed in real-time.
Locally Stored Data (Custom Spots): Any "Secret Spots" or custom markers you add to the map are saved strictly locally on your device's internal storage (via Room Database). We do not upload, sync, or have access to your personal fishing spots.
Usage & Device Data: We collect non-personally identifiable information such as device model, OS version, app interaction data, and app crash logs to monitor performance, analyze usage trends, and improve app stability.
2. Third-Party Services & Monetization We use trusted third-party services that may collect information used to identify you, provide core functionality, or analyze app performance:
Google AdMob: We use AdMob to serve Rewarded Ads. AdMob may use advertising IDs (such as Android Advertising ID) and cookies to serve personalized ads. You can opt out of personalized ads in your Android device settings.
Google Play Billing: If you purchase a Premium Subscription, the transaction is securely handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, process, or store your credit card information.
Google Analytics for Firebase: We use this service to understand how users interact with the app, improve features, and analyze general usage statistics. This service may collect anonymous Device or other IDs and app interaction data.
Firebase Crashlytics: We use this service to monitor and log technical errors (crashes). This helps us gather diagnostic data to quickly fix bugs and ensure a seamless experience.
OpenStreetMap (OSMDroid) & Open-Meteo: Used for rendering maps and fetching weather data. Your location coordinates are sent to these APIs anonymously to retrieve the forecast.

3. How We Use Your Information
To provide and maintain the App's core functionality.
To generate location-based weather and AI fishing recommendations.
To monitor app stability, analyze usage, and fix technical crashes.
To serve advertisements and manage premium subscriptions.
4. Data Security Since your custom spots and premium status are stored locally on your device, you are responsible for securing your phone. If you delete the app or lose your device, your saved custom spots will be permanently deleted.
5. Children's Privacy Our App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
6. Florida Privacy Rights If you are a resident of Florida, you are protected under applicable state laws regarding data breaches and data collection. Because we do not store your personal data on external servers (everything is on your device), your risk of a data breach from our end is virtually non-existent.
7. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
