Selene is the Queen of Ice and Snow. She lives in an ice castle in the North Pole and apart from being able to manipulate her elements, she can turn into an Arctic fox. She also has a collection of magical mirrors that reflect people's true nature, fears, and joys. The biggest, most powerful one can spy other places, too.

Tim and Ben run into her while looking for Nikki after she was taken by Krampus (Tim's Winter Adventure). Selene isn't a people's person, but she feels drawn to Tim after sensing his inner wolf and laughs at him being a monster slayer. She also traps Ben in her hall of mirrors, where he's confronted with his guilt for his daughter's kidnapping. However, in the end, Tim convinces her to help them get to Nikki. Despite that, Ben still doesn't trust her and believes she only did it to get back at Krampus for something.

INSPIRATION

The icy aesthetic was taken from Hans Christian Andersen's The Snow Queen, but her personality, which sadly wasn't showcased much, was partly inspired by Lady Envy from the Malazan series.
