Introduction

Artificial Intelligence, data science & intelligent technology have increasingly involved in many disciplines, ranging from science such as astronomy and bioinformatics to education, which has been intensified given the situation of COVID-19. These allows, for instance, more effective and transparent process to which improved content, process and delivery can be made. As such, this workshop is able to reinforce the main program of ICCE 2021 by allowing experts and researchers working in the aforementioned areas to share new knowledge and good practices. Crossover and interdisciplinary research works bridging AI, data science and intelligent processing and systems to educational research and development are welcomed to this workshop.

Scope: Topics of interest include, but are not limited to:

  • Data-driven modeling and visualization to solve education related problems.

  • Uncertainty, fuzzy set and system and their applications.

  • Intelligent information processing for improved operations.

  • Machine and deep learning models for knowledge discovery.

  • Intelligent systems for educational research and development.

  • Tools and systems for improved education and personal learning.

  • Others relating to technological applications in multidisciplinary studies, including health, medicine, social science, engineering, for instance.

Important Dates:

  • Jul 22, 2021: Deadline for submission of full-length or short papers to workshop.

  • Aug 2, 2021: Acceptance notification.

  • Aug 16, 2021: Final camera-ready papers due in electronic form.

  • Nov 22-26, 2021: Conference events

Submission:

Manuscripts for this workshop should be prepared as a full (8-10 pages) or short (5-6 pages) paper, using the formal template of ICCE 2021 (https://icce2021.apsce.net/wp-content/uploads/2021/02/ICCE2021-PaperTemplate.doc). They should NOT be submitted in duplication to any other regular or workshops in ICCE 2021. All submissions should be sent to AIDS.ED@gmail.com.

All accepted papers will be published in proceedings, submitted to Elsevier for inclusion in Scopus.

All submitted papers have to undergo the same single-blind review process (three completed reviews per paper). Technical reviewers will be members of the technical program committee and qualified peer-reviewers nominated by organizers.
